Victor Wu
Victor Wu counsels Chinese companies on responding to U.S. antidumping and countervailing duty questionnaires. Drawing on his experience as a licensed CPA in China ("CICPA"), Mr. Wu is able to explain the U.S. Department of Commerce’s complex factors of production reporting requirements to Chinese clients, with a deep understanding of the types of accounting and production tracking systems typically employed by Chinese companies. Mr. Wu has worked on several of the most complex U.S. antidumping cases against China and has successfully guided Chinese respondents through numerous on-site audits, i.e., "verifications." Additionally, during the course of the intensive antidumping examinations, Mr. Wu also provides business advice on internal controls and accounting practices which often enable Chinese companies to improve their performance. Prior to launching his career consulting for U.S. law firms on antidumping cases, Mr. Wu worked for several international accounting firms for almost 8 years, culminating in a position as Audit Manager at Ernst & Young in Beijing. Mr. Wu is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.
